PREQUEL is a tactical storytelling game of heroic sacrifice for 4-5 players.
You are the first group of Heroes that have reached the Evil that rules over the realm. The quest was difficult and full of sacrifice. Despite all this, victory will not meet you. However, the heroes who come after you may still have a chance, provided you can pave the way.
- Fight the Evil in a multi-phased tactical boss fight
- Worldbuild as you fight, constructing a timeline of the Heroes' quest
- Build your legacy by discovering the Evil's weaknesses and Heroes' burdens
- Perfect for a one-shot or an introduction to a longer campaign

My regular gaming group played the preview version of Prequel and turned it into the setting of our next campaign. I wrote a narrative introduction to our world based on Prequel and posted it to my website. Highly recommend this game for collaborative world building.

Hello! We're working on the complete version of the game now, and it's scheduled to be released end of Q3 2025. The game will be distributed to backers first. After that, folks who weren't able to back the game will be able to purchase the game (digitally or physically)!
